Ruth Steinholtz is the managing partner at AretéWork LLP which assists companies globally to manage risk and improve results by fostering strong ethical cultures based upon their values.
As General Counsel and Head of Ethics at Borealis AG, Ruth developed a values-based approach to ethics and compliance employing ethics ambassadors throughout the organisation.
Her approach combines knowledge of the underlying legal and regulatory framework of ethics and compliance in the UK and US; her expertise in culture risk measurement and culture change management with her experience in team leadership and coaching.
Ruth’s publications include the Ethical Business Practice and Regulation: A Behavioural and Values-Based Approach to Compliance and Enforcement (2017) as well as the Institute of Business Ethics Good Practice Guides to Ethics Ambassadors (2010); Performance Management for an Ethical Culture (2014).
