Kate Sim

Kate is a doctoral student at the Oxford Internet Institute. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender-based violence and technology. Her dissertation draws heavily from critical studies of data, technology, and gender/sexuality, to examine the digitization of sexual assault reporting process in U.S. higher education through ethnographic methods. She serves on the board of Know Your IX, and has worked in anti-rape campaigns, Title IX advocacy, and domestic violence/sexual assault response.
