Calli is a Privacy Attorney at VeraSafe. Prior to joining VeraSafe, Calli was an associate attorney at Lewis, Bess, Williams & Weese, practicing in privacy, data security, and intellectual property. Key interests include international privacy laws, consumer protection, and ethics in privacy. She is a former Westin Research Fellow for the IAPP and served as an intern for Commissioner Julie Brill at the Federal Trade Commission. In law school, she was a student attorney in the Technology Law and Policy Clinic and was the Lead Student Note Editor of the Colorado Technology Law Journal. Previous publications have addressed topics ranging from human subject research to behavioral advertising to surveillance, and has written extensively about privacy case law, international developments in privacy law, data localization trends, and the technological challenges of data stewardship. She received her B.A. from Whitworth University and her J.D. from University of Colorado.
