Worked on scientific and policy aspects of national security at the Los Alamos National Laboratory for 35 years. Nuclear fuel cycle, environmental restoration, laser development, chemical weapons, nuclear weapons, history of nuclear weapons development. All of my projects had policy significance: nuclear power, Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, Chemical Weapons Convention, cleanup of US nuclear sites, Nunn-Lugar cooperation with Former Soviet Union States. Worked with projects in Estonia and Kazakhstan.
