Amanda O'Keefe

Amanda K. O’Keefe is a SVP and Assistant General Counsel in Citigroup’s Global Tech and IP group, and Global Privacy group. She has advised technology, financial services, and healthcare institutions on global privacy and data security matters, and has developed policies and procedures to achieve compliance while fostering innovation. Her daily responsibilities include cross-border data transfer, international regulatory compliance, third party risk management, enterprise cloud strategy, and OSS matters. Prior to joining Citi, Amanda and her team created the first global enterprise privacy program for an entrepreneurial technology company. In addition to her privacy practice, Amanda advises on trademark and copyright issues, and advertising/marketing/merchandising issues.

Amanda is particularly interested in the intersection of technology and social and economic justice. Amanda is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, and serves on the IAPP’s Publications Advisory Board.
