At Mitre, Laura navigates complex decision environments across the public sector, creating STEM based projects in the context of varied regulatory regimes, political priorities and policy goals. Laura develops or evaluates science and technology based investments and projects in collaboration with academic, commercial and public sector partners that are operationally effective, programmatically feasible and make the world safer. Before joining MITRE, Laura worked in venture capital and commercial sector M&A for information, medical, and telecommunications technology. Laura is an alumna of Columbia University (AB), Yale University (MFA), and George Washington University (MSc). She has received MITRE’s Directors Award for Outstanding Contributions and MITRE’s Officer Award for Technical Leadership and Engineering Excellence.
