Michelle Cohen

Michelle Cohen helps organizations reach customers and prospects while complying with the myriad of state, federal and international privacy and cybersecurity requirements. As Practice Group leader for Ifrah Law's Data Protection and Cyber Security group, she advises online companies, including gaming companies, on privacy matters such as the drafting of online terms and conditions, and the preparation of legal opinions and to support launching of services.

Michelle handles enforcement matters with the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission and state agencies where her deep knowledge in these areas and her strong footing in the privacy community help her to resolve issues in the most expedient manner possible. Michelle has extensive experience defending individual and class actions in the consumer protection context, including dozens of Telephone Consumer Protection Act cases. She obtained a rare rescission of an FCC citation in a TCPA enforcement matter.
