Lauren Reid

Lauren Reid is president of The Privacy Pro, a boutique privacy consulting firm specializing in data ethics, GDPR, and cross border data transfers. Lauren has over 13 years of privacy experience including consulting/advisory, in-house privacy officer, and software and program implementation support. Lauren speaks at conferences around Europe and North America on privacy governance, GDPR, data ethics, and demonstrating compliance. Prior to establishing her consulting practice, Lauren led the Accountability Management Solutions department at Nymity and oversaw EU Operations. Prior to Nymity, Lauren was Senior Manager accountable for strategic privacy initiatives at Bank of Montreal, one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. For over six years, Lauren was part of KPMG’s Global Privacy Centre of Excellence, and led the privacy advisory services initiative for Canada.
