Geneviève Lajeunesse has been involved in the media and interactive industries for more than 12 years. She has been contributed to community WiFi projects and independent media as a technical resource, a strategic analyst and an administrator. Formerly a game producer and business analyst, she has a firm grasp of the statistical analysis of online behaviors. Her interests include information security, surveillance, intellectual property, IoT, Open Hardware initiatives, Big Data and biometric systems. She is also a commentator for Radio-Canada, with a weekly segment on technology in 10 cities across Canada, host and producer of Les Chiens de garde podcast, one of the foremost French-language infosec podcasts, and Director of Operations at Crypto.Québec, Geneviève wishes to foster a better understanding of good security practices and processes, defend the right to privacy at large and the right to use cryptographic systems in particular.
