Shilpi Kumar

Shilpi works on changing industrial systems with new technologies. As an employee and investor of technology startups, she has worked on product development, partnership design, business models, and financing strategy. Currently, Shilpi manages technology commercialization at Instrumental, a company that provides AI-driven defect detection for manufacturing lines. Previously, she led product marketing at Filament, which is bringing a decentralized networking and economic stack to construction, mining, and agriculture assets. She also invests in early stage founders through Village Global. Other interests include: open data projects, public service design, renewable infrastructure and financing, decentralized systems theory, and basic income/asset models, data privacy and governance models.
