Ramya Krishnan is a staff attorney at the Knight First Amendment Institute, where she works on issues related to government transparency, surveillance, and social media. Ramya joined the Knight Institute as its inaugural legal fellow. She is a graduate of the University of Sydney and Columbia Law School. She previously worked on constitutional and administrative law matters in Australia’s Attorney-General’s Department. From 2013-2014, she served as law clerk for the Hon. Robert Beech Jones of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
