Jackie is a senior leader in data science, modeling, and technology. She is the creator of Mesa, an agent-based modeling library in Python, as well as the author of Data Wrangling with Python, published by O'Reilly. She is a former White House Presidential Innovation Fellow and co-founder of 18F. She sits on the Board of the Python Software Foundation & Byte Back. She is a leader in the Python community and uses her skills to lead teams and to use data to help people understand complex problems. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and daughter.
