Deborah Shinbein Howitt is a partner with Lewis, Bess Williams & Weese. She has focused on privacy, internet, technology and media law since 1997, and she is a Certified Information Privacy Professional. Her practice includes development of privacy and security programs and policies, international privacy compliance and data transfers, data breach work, vendor privacy programs, privacy & security training, and compliance gap assessments. She also handles technology transactions, digital marketing, licensing, and other business agreements. She has been in-house counsel at the Anschutz Company and The Walt Disney Internet Group, and she previously taught privacy law at the University of Colorado Law School.
