Rose Galloway Green is a Senior Policy Advisor at the UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy where she leads on strategic barriers to deployment for offshore wind - of which issues around aviation/radar and cumulative impacts are a major part.
Rose previously worked on wholesale electricity markets, cross-border gas trading in the event of a no-deal Brexit, energy codes, and at the national energy regulator - Ofgem. Rose studied oil and gas in Russia on a BP scholarship, and holds a master’s degree in Energy. Her dissertation was on the development of liquidity in European gas markets, and outlined a model of gas hub development that would lead to more liquid and efficient wholesale gas markets. Rose was previously Editor-in-Chief of a journal covering Energy Politics.
