Mieke Eoyang

Mieke runs the National Security Program at Third Way with focus on cybersecurity, intelligence, surveillance, and politics. She is a former congressional staff on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and House Armed Services Committees where she handled a variety of issues including cybersecurity, electronic surveillance, budgets, and personnel policy. She also served as the Chief of Staff to Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (D-Palo Alto), and as Defense Policy Advisor to Senator Edward M. Kennedy. She appears frequently on MSNBC and has been cited in the Washington Post, Politico, Vox, NPR, and other publications.
