As a data scientist and social scientist, Rumman’s passion lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and humanity. She is currently the Global Lead for Responsible AI on the Applied Intelligence team, creating responsible and ethical AI products for Accenture clients. She holds two undergraduate degrees from MIT, a masters from Columbia University, and a PhD from the University of California, San Diego. She has been honored as one of the BBC’s 100 Women, Silicon Valley’s 40 under 40, a TedX speaker, and is a fellow at the Royal Society for the Arts. She is the founder of Equals Academy – a skills training program that links Syrian refugees to the freelance economy, and the creator of Allai – an app to improve meeting dynamics.
