Aline Blankertz

Aline leads the project “Data Economy” at Stiftung Neue Verantwortung, an independent think tank at the intersection between technology and society. She currently assesses economic, technical and social issues in order to develop innovative data policy recommendations.

Aline has been working on various topics related to the data economy for various years. Before joining Stiftung Neue Verantwortung, she managed analyses of the platform economy, data protection, algorithms, fairness in e-commerce and intermediary liability at the economic consultancy Oxera, for clients including Google, Skyscanner and the UK consumer association Which?. She also taught courses for EU judges on competition in digital markets.
