Allison Berke is the Executive Director of the Stanford Cyber Initiative, where she manages research, education, and outreach activities related to the secure integration of cyber technologies into society. She teaches CS181 at Stanford (Computers, Ethics, and Public Policy), chairs the Blockchain Protocol and Security Engineering conference, and writes on private blockchains and computer security in healthcare. She received her PhD in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley, and previously worked in biomedical- and security-focused consulting with McKinsey & Co.
