Christine Bannan is EPIC's Administrative Law and Policy Fellow and and Internet Law and Policy Foundry Fellow. She works on various privacy and security issues before Congress and federal agencies. She is a 2017 graduate of Notre Dame Law School and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). In law school she focused on privacy, innovation, and free speech issues, completing internships at the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the Wikimedia Foundation, and the U.S. Copyright Office. Christine won first place in the Edelson PC Consumer Privacy Scholarship competition and her submission, discussing the privacy threats posed by the internet of things, was published in TechCrunch. She is a member of the Massachusetts bar.
